Have you seen Ludi-Q's® yet? Priceless clarity at the speed of a flip!
Do you know your core brilliance?
I ask because most people do not, even self-aware people who have spent time and money exploring their answers to Who am I and why am I here?
What is “core brilliance”?
You may be wondering what I mean by core brilliance. It is that thing you are built to bring to the world. That Zing You Do! It’s built-in and life-long. When you do it, you feel strong and alive and others are helped in some way. When you don't do it, you aren’t quite the same; in fact, you may feel lost, restless, and bored – even if you’re in a position of success.
It’s in there, under those other amazing things you are!
If you were a pile of diamonds, you would find your core brilliance way down at the very center of the pile, at bedrock. You’d reach down through the other diamonds of talents, experience, knowledge, personality, purpose, and mission, and there it would be: the crux of You. Your innate and constant Zing!
Calm and fueled, both.
Here is what I have noticed about people who know their core brilliance, or Zing! They become both calm and fueled. Calm, because they finally make sense to themselves. And fueled, because they want to get at it with their new clarity. I have noticed that many people who know their Zing! take on a sense of calling, a new energy for service, from the center of who they are. For many, old dreams are awakened and new ones show up.
Part “street” and part “soul.”
While the results of being able to define your Zing! and bring it forward in your life and work, are wonderful for your soul, they are just as powerful for the street – where you work, serve, and relate.
My clients love the tangible and intangible benefits they receive as a result of knowing their Zing! The intangibles include more confidence, renewed spirit, relief, and a sense of direction. Tangibles include books, businesses, products, career moves, and websites.
Margaret Knows
Let me tell you Margaret Marcuson’s story. A few years ago, Margaret – a new client at the time – said she most wanted to write, speak, and coach on leadership, and it was important to her that what she brought to the market was quotable.
I began at square one and defined Margaret’s core brilliance. From there we named and created a Zing-based company, brand and following that has paved the way for Margaret to write, speak and coach and be quoted on leadership. The other day, she sent me text to review for the back cover of a book on leadership that will hit bookshelves and online stores in 2009. Plus, Margaret is making plans for her upcoming term as President of her state’s chapter of the National Speaker’s Association.
Margaret's expression of her Zing! At this season of her life is a powerful unfolding that is making leadership easier than most think is possible.
Quote by Margaret Marcuson.
No assessments or essays – just a simple conversation.
I think you’ll like knowing that the Zing – or core brilliance – process is simple and conversational. It is what we here at Quiddity call a shortcut to clarity. You and I sit and talk, and as we do, I pull the threads together for you, and your answer emerges. It’s not magic, just an interesting combination of logic and intuition that can feel like magic.
Even people who have done valuable purpose and mission work, or helpful life coaching, often remain in the dark about their core brilliance. And I notice that people who are self-aware and actively doing their core brilliance often cannot define what it is and are left wondering if they have hit the mark or not.
Traditional purpose and mission work requires you to come to deep conclusions that require a set of skills most people do not have, and even if they do, it can be difficult to view yourself accurately. The effort can be grueling, even with help. Another reason it can be frustrating is that trying to determine your purpose and mission before knowing your core brilliance is like walking backwards blindfolded. Start at your core and the rest comes more easily and makes more sense.
Assessments and essay questions, even journaling, are typically thought of as the route to knowing yourself and what you offer. As helpful as these are, and as mightily as I applaud their value in giving you more and more understanding about yourself and how you fit, they make more sense once you know The Main Thing – Your Zing!
My Zing! Your Zing!
I do this work because my core brilliance is to see and articulate the truth of something and what it can become. I create clarity and vision. My talents, like yours, help me carry out my core brilliance. The Zing! process is a direct outgrowth of my core brilliance combined with passion to “let yourself happen.” I use my Zing! to help you define, leverage, and launch yours.
Watch this video to see me explain the relationship between your core brilliance and your other assets, like your talents.
I have been quietly doing this one-to-one with successful professionals around the nation for over ten years. My clients have urged me to expand so more people – and youth – can know and use their Zing!
Is it possible?
Is there a way more people of all ages can define their core brilliance? I have wondered, and waited. Would I be able to train other professionals with similar skills and instincts? Would it be possible to guide people to their core brilliance in groups? Would it be engaging for an audience to view a live demonstration of the process? How might technology be helpful?
We are going to find out.
We know Zing! works one-to-one. We are about to find out if it is also possible to train other professionals in the process, guide people to their core brilliance in groups, engage audiences with live demonstrations, and use technology to assist us. And so we are taking first steps in that direction.
What’s it mean for you?
You are reading this at the very moment Zing! is being retrofitted for its future. What this means is new options are opening up for you and yours to define, leverage, and launch your Zing! We are moving thoughtfully through this transition, engaged in a genuine effort to produce what is lastingly helpful and doable.
Here are your current Zing! opportunities:
You can become one of a new group of private Zing! clients. An absorbing period of product creation has concluded for me and for a time there is room in my schedule to add a few more clients. This is my first announcement of availability, so if you are interested, please call as soon as possible 1(877) 737-8177.
You can enroll in our first online Zing! class, beginning in February. The class will be limited to 8. Click here to enroll or receive more information.
You can retrofit your own brand or product to align with your Zing! Your exciting roster of deliverables can include brand and identity development, website and product creation, and a “mining” experience that uncovers latent product and service possibilities. Language is key in a Zing-based effort, and you will acquire an inventory of fresh ways to describe yourself and your work. Click here to schedule a conversation with me about this.
Your yeses and no’s.
Our lives are shaped by our yeses and no’s. I hope you will say “yes” to defining your Zing! and using it to build a strong, satisfying life. A Zing-centered life keeps you producing from the center of who you are. A Zing-centered brand keeps you making sense to your market. And Zing-centered service to others keeps you in the double thrill of applying your best efforts for the greatest good.
